What Our Travelers Say

"My first ever outback adventure with Chris and Tine on the Discoverer tour could not have been a more perfect choice! From the start, their warm and welcoming nature made me feel like we had been on a journey together ever since... We all absolutely loved sleeping in swags under the stars."

Otto

"As I sat down to write to you about our amazing trip, I struggled to know where to even begin! It was an absolute dream come true! From the moment I reached out to Chris, I knew I was in for something special."

Tony

"Thank you, Chris and Tine, the Adventurer tour was the holiday of a lifetime for my wife and me. With different preferences when it comes to vacations, we were amazed to find a trip that satisfied both of our interests. The off-road journeys through rugged terrains brought out the adventurer in us."

Denis

"As a passionate hiker, I was looking for a thrilling, outdoors escape from our normal way of holidaying suited for Western Australia. So, after some research and talking with others, I signed up for Proudback's Adventurer tour, and it truly blew my mind! The heart-pumping sand and off-road terrains were amazing."

Ali

"As my husband and I knew we would be in Western Australia only temporarily, we were looking for an awesome travel experience that would also be a hit with our 16 and 13-year-old children. After chatting with Tine and Chris, we chose to do Proudback's Explorer tour. And from the start it was incredible."

Gillian

"My family's Proudback Explorer tour was an experience of a lifetime! Traveling with my husband and my two children, aged 13 and 15, made it even more memorable as we bonded and grew closer together throughout the trip. Witnessing my kids' enthusiasm and excitement during the entire adventure was wonderful."

Travel Tips

Pack Small

You only need essential, outdoor clothes. Pack some shoes to slip in for the nights, and closed off shoes for the day. Remeber to only take a duffel bag as hardcase suitcases might not fit.

Eyewear Essentials

If possible, pack daily contact lenses as sand and dust are a constant factor on the outback trails. Sunglasses are essential to protect your eyes from the harsh Australian sun.

Stay Hydrated

Pack a reusable water bottle, and always remember to refill and carry, especially in hot climates.

Capture Memories

Don't forget to bring a camera or ensure your phone has enough storage. We have USB-C and USB-A chargers in the cars, so remember to bring your cables.
